Frequently asked questions.

1. What is Dustless Blasting?

Dustless Blasting is a surface preparation process that uses a mixture of water and eco-friendly abrasive. It removes paint, rust, grime, and coatings from metal, wood, and more — all while minimizing dust and preventing sparks.

2. What surfaces can you blast?

We safely blast anything from metal and wood to gas tanks, trailers, and industrial machinery. The process is versatile and tough on grime, but gentle enough to avoid warping or damaging the surface.

3. How is Dustless Blasting different from traditional sandblasting?

No dust clouds

  1. Grounds sparks (safer near fuel systems!)

  2. Keeps surfaces cool (less chance of warping)

  3. Eco-friendlier & cleaner

  4. Safe on active fuel systems

4. Do you serve residential customers or just businesses?

While we specialize in industrial clients and municipalities, we also welcome residential projects — especially for restoring trailers, outdoor furniture, or removing graffiti.

5. Is it safe to use Dustless Blasting near fuel or propane tanks?

Yes! One of our key advantages is the spark-grounding capability of the water-aggregate mix, which makes it safe even around active fuel systems.

6. Do you offer mobile blasting services?

Yes! We bring our mobile unit directly to your job site — ideal for large tanks, trailers, or hard-to-move equipment. Most jobs can be completed the same day.

7. Do you accept small jobs?

Yes, absolutely! Whether it’s a small metal part, a car wheel, or a mailbox, we’re happy to help. You can drop items off at our location, or we can arrange pickup if you're nearby. Just contact us to set it up!

8. If you use water and sand, won’t it rust?

Not with our process. While blasting with water can cause flash rust on bare metal, we prevent it by applying a rust inhibitor immediately after the blast. This treatment neutralizes surface contaminants and slows oxidation, keeping the metal clean, stable, and ready for paint or coating.

9. How long does the process take?

Most projects — even large tanks — can be done in one day. Timing depends on the size and complexity of the job, but we always aim to be fast and efficient.

10. What do I need to do to prepare for a blasting appointment?

Please clear the work area and let us know if there’s anything sensitive nearby. For drop-off jobs, make sure the item is clearly labeled. We’ll handle everything else — from setup to cleanup.
